THE SPITFIRES
Formed in Watford and led by songwriter and frontman Billy Sullivan, The Spitfires have built a reputation as one of Britain’s most exciting modern guitar bands, blending mod, punk, ska and indie influences with sharp social commentary and energetic live performances. Since emerging in 2015, the band have earned a loyal following across the UK and Europe thanks to acclaimed albums including Response, Year Zero and Life Worth Living.
Last October saw the release of their latest album, MKII, a bold new chapter for the band that captures a refreshed and confident sound while retaining the urgency and melodic hooks that have defined their music from the start. The record marked the return of The Spitfires with a revitalised line-up and a run of sold-out live shows.
Alongside growing international recognition, the band also appeared on legendary French TV music show Taratata, introducing their music to an even wider European audience and continuing their strong connection with fans across the continent.
