Guava - Arcadia
Guava, formally known as Arcadian, are a Synth Pop band with all sorts of influences ranging from The Visitors to Snatchup Alley. Equipped with groovy beats and lyrical witticisms, Guava's sound has evolved over the last 5 years, with the simple goal of developing the grooviest groove. They like long walks down the beach and dancing to Nick Mulvey's Cucurucu.
Fresh from supporting the likes of The Magic Gang, Vitamin, and Declan McKenna, the band has been featured on BBC Introducing with Gareth Lloyd, and have also performed on the Introducing stage at Rhythms of The World as well as mainstage at Wilkestock festival.
Sad Boys Club
Hailing from Crouch End, Sad Boys Club draw on an amalgamation of influences to craft an emotive, inherently ambitious indie pop sound, reminiscent of The Cure, The War on Drugs and The National glossed with 1975-esque nostalgia.
Existing in various formations since their pre-teen days, the five-piece spent their formative years honing their craft in Bombay Bicycle Club’s shed, experimenting with their hand-me-down equipment. Now, with a bank of electrifying new material ready to be unleashed and an uncompromising sense of identity that far belies their youth, Sad Boys Club are ready to tackle 2018 head on.
